i know. ive been slack.  
this is the reason i havent posted here in about a month: i got bored and decided to make another livejournal where i blab alot about my chemical romance and music and twilight. i figured you wouldnt want to put up with my fangirl-ness over gerard way but hey if you love them too please friend me.

mcr obsessed.  
 halloween was so fun. i hope all you guys had a great halloween. me and my friends wore black parade jackets to movieworld and got photos with all the horror slashers (freddy krueger, jason, hannibal etc) but the guy dressed up as michael myers was such a loser and walked past us when we asked him for a photo. anyway. 

ive got so many exams and assignments and so many other things are happening too. im going to see the killers next friday and then three weeks later my chemical romance in which i will probably fall over and die when i see gerard way...

yay i have things to look forward to :)

invasion.  

this weekend is somewhat interesting. im sitting here listening to jazz while the Lexmark Indy 300 goes on a few hundred metres from my house. still, its pretty cool when there's car racing on your doorstep. surfers paradise is packed with people and its a bitch to drive anywhere but its worth it. especially when good charlotte were just playing across from my street. every year this particular weekend is so busy. besides the deafening sounds of champ cars, v8's, jets and helicopters, i have three friends birthdays to attend to and a charity breakfast. for a boring person like me this is certainly a change!

big sigh.  
well my exams are over thank god. pretty sure i did crap in all of them. oh well. two weeks of relaxation now. im seeing stardust on sunday and hopefully hairspray again next week. also having a scifi/horror night at my place which should be interesting...
im also in the process of making a website sort of related to pride and prejudice. its about the romantic era and how to do makeup and stye inspiration from that time. should be pretty good. im a bit of an amatuer though. i was originally going to do a fifties or sixties site but there are quite a few of them. i do love the fifties though, enormously.
my shop till you drop magazine arrived yesterday which isnt normally exciting but its a big issue and the cover is gold!! im so sad....

you can't stop the beat.  
yep thats right i saw hairspray this afternoon. its only just come out here this week. it was brilliant! i mean i knew it was going to be great but it sure exceeded my expectations. it brought back my fifties/sixties obsession and reminded me how great that era was. i only wish i had been a part of it. the dresses and the hair and makeup. which reminds me of a discovery i made last week. miss vintage is an absolutely beautiful site made by april and it has so much information on past trends, beauty and lots of bits on marilyn monroe and her style. thought id give this site a shoutout because its the best vintage haven ive ever visited. thats what inspired my new layout header.
movies watched this weekend: aliens. apollo 13. some like it hot. clockwork orange. crybaby. sunshine.

obsessions.  
ahh. sunshine came out on the weekend. ive never seen a movie thats made me feel happy, sad and terrified so much. its such a good movie and watching my one true irish love save the world puts me in a fit. yes i know im such a fangirl. its amazing how obsessed you can become with people. its scary. for example: there's a guy in my class who's absolutely beautiful. tall, strong, defined features. he's got the lot. but he's like a brick wall. he hardly talks. he's untouchable. i stare at him alot. its really lame i know. sometimes i brush past him on my way to my locker and it feels like ive been touched by an angel. i told you. obsessions. they can control your mind...

random note: i saw these new denim shorts that are like bloomers! gotta get me some of them

oh. the mighty boosh. honestly the greatest tv show i have been introduced to since mash. before i knew it i had bought the dvd. noel fielding is smoking hot. and he wears tight pants. does anyone else enjoy these zoo adventures?

band practice #1  
Having just started a band with some friends, I have decided to write about it here. Our first 'jam' was last wednesday. Not very successful.... Not very organised.... A downright disaster. But I didnt expect a good start. Firstly, our drummer doesnt have a drum kit. The bass player cant play. And our lead singer didnt bother to come at all. by the way i play the guitar. After an hour of trying to play fall out boy and good charlotte songs, we fail. Another few minutes and we're able to play hot cross buns perfectly. Feeling like complete amateurs, we drop the instruments and head off to Montezuma's for lunch. Some day. But I have a small inch of hope that we'll get better.

loony....i mean luna  

Yep, just saw Harry Potter Order Of The Phoenix. It was so good except for the fact that they left SO much out. I expected it but there was loads more missing than i expected. I guess its hard to fit it into two hours. But as long as there is tons of eye candy to keep me happy : )
my absolute favourite was Luna Lovegood. that girl is so cool. In the book she seemed more irritating but I loved her in the movie! her clothes, her accent, everything!

Reality.  
I cant believe that a doctor (yes, a doctor) from the gold coast (my hometown) is involved with the british terrorist attacks. A DOCTOR! what is wrong with this world.
